Welcome to mSync! We collect information to provide you and your friends with the best possible synchronous music experience:

• Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture.
• Uploads & Library: Audio files you voluntarily upload to our servers and custom cover images.
• Room Activity: Room names, real-time playback state, and synchronization metadata generated within the app.
• Device Data: Anonymous diagnostic data to ensure app stability and optimal server connection times.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is strictly used to power the mSync platform. Specifically, we use it to:

• Enable real-time, synchronized audio playback across multiple devices.
• Store and securely deliver the audio files you upload.
• Protect our community from bad actors and excessive API usage.
• Improve our backend services and minimize latency.

3. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell your personal data. Your information is only shared with core infrastructure providers globally recognized for security (such as Firebase for authentication/databases and MongoDB for metadata storage). All media connections and sync payloads are securely encrypted via SSL/TLS.

4. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You own your data. You may delete your account and subsequently purge all uploaded audio files and room histories natively within the mSync app via Settings -> Sign Out & Delete Account. Alternatively, you can reach out via Support for manual deletion assistance.
